Become Your Own Bliss

My Spirit Animal is the Butterfly

When I was a wee lass, I constantly had vivid dreams of running then flying. Some of the first dreams I remember ever having were of flight over fields and flowers.

More recently, whenever I experienced great joy or profound loss, I would encounter gorgeous little butterflies. Throughout my life, I've heard the term Spirit Animal, but never really thought much of it.
I have always deeply resonated with the term metamorphosis. Learning the definition of the word changed my life. Fuzzy, squishy caterpillar morphs into stunning winged creature.

Upon researching the meaning of the symbolism behind my spirit animal being the butterfly, I came across this piece. I read this about two weeks ago. The meaning of the totem blew my mind.
